Kling 2.6 — the human motion king
Use when: Your shot has a human in motion — dancing, walking, turning, hand gestures, fabric movement. Kling is anatomically correct and handles expressions better than any other model.
Don't use for: Static product shots, architecture, or when you need 4K. Kling maxes at 2K.
Pro tip: For music videos, describe the beat in motion — "she turns, hair sweeping, as the drop hits." Kling reads musical phrasing.
VEO 3.1 — the cinematic photorealism champion
Use when: You need the highest photorealism — hero shots, product videos, cinematic B-roll. VEO understands complex prompts and camera direction better than any model.
Don't use for: Fast iteration (it's the most expensive and slowest). Use FLUX Fast for ideation, then VEO for the final.
Seedance Pro — the multi-reference compositor
Use when: You need to combine multiple visual references — character + background + costume + style. Seedance has 4 reference slots and reads clothing from references better than any model.
Don't use for: Simple text-to-video with no references. Kling or VEO are better for pure prompt-driven generation.
FLUX Pro — the image quality standard
Use when: You need the highest quality still image — hero shots, print, portfolio. Best prompt adherence and fine detail of any image model.
Don't use for: Rapid ideation. Use FLUX Fast (sub-1 second, 2-4 fuel) for exploring 20-30 concepts, then FLUX Pro for the final.
Atom X — the character consistency lock
Use when: You need the same person across multiple images and videos. Atom X is LoRA-trained from 20 of your photos. Face, wardrobe, style stay identical.
Don't use for: One-off images where character consistency doesn't matter. FLUX Pro or Seedream 4K are better for general-purpose photorealism.
