How-To Guide
How to Post AI Content Directly to Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
The most tedious part of AI content creation is not the generation. It is the publishing. You generate a video, download it to your desktop, open Instagram, write a caption, select the file, wait for it to upload, add hashtags, and post. Then you repeat the whole process for Facebook. Then for LinkedIn. Then for YouTube. By the time you have posted to four platforms, you have spent 20 minutes on manual upload work for every minute of content you produced. Twin Studio eliminates this entirely. It is the only AI platform in India with direct Meta API and LinkedIn API integration. You generate. You post. One flow. This guide shows you how.
Why direct publishing matters
Before we get to the steps, it is worth understanding why this feature is rare and why it matters. Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn all have official APIs that allow third-party applications to post content on a user's behalf. But these APIs require OAuth 2.0 integration, app verification, security audits, and ongoing compliance. Meta requires apps to go through a business verification process. LinkedIn requires app review for the w_member_social scope. Most AI tools skip this entirely because it is expensive and time-consuming. They generate content and leave the publishing to you.
Twin Studio did the work. The Meta Hub integration went through Meta's business verification. The LinkedIn integration went through LinkedIn's app review. The result: you connect once, and Twin Studio can post to your Instagram, Facebook Pages, and LinkedIn feed directly through the official APIs. No screen recording. No browser automation. No manual download and upload. Official API calls, authenticated with your OAuth tokens, posted through the platform's own infrastructure.
Step 1 — Connect Instagram
Open Twin Studio and navigate to the Meta Hub. This is the central dashboard for all your social connections. Click the Instagramtab and then click Connect Instagram.
You will be redirected to Instagram's OAuth 2.0 consent screen. Log in with your Instagram credentials and authorize Twin Studio to post on your behalf. The authorization uses Instagram's official Graph API — this is the same API that Meta's own business tools use. Your credentials are never stored by Twin Studio. What is stored is an encrypted OAuth token that allows Twin Studio to make API calls on your behalf. You can revoke this at any time from either Twin Studio or Instagram's app settings.
Once connected, you will see your Instagram profile in the Meta Hub. The connection status shows as active, and you can see your account handle and profile picture. You are now ready to publish to Instagram from Twin Studio.
Step 2 — Connect Facebook Pages
In the Meta Hub, click the Facebook tab and then Connect Facebook. You will be redirected to Facebook's OAuth consent screen. After logging in, you will see a list of Facebook Pages you manage. Select the Page(s) you want Twin Studio to publish to and authorize.
The Facebook integration uses the Pages API, which means Twin Studio posts as your Page, not as your personal profile. This is the correct behaviour for business and creator accounts. If you manage multiple Pages, you can connect all of them and select which Page to post to each time you publish.
Step 3 — Connect LinkedIn
In the Meta Hub, click the LinkedIn tab (LinkedIn is integrated as the fourth platform alongside Instagram, Facebook, and Threads). Click Connect LinkedInand authorize on LinkedIn's consent screen. Twin Studio uses the LinkedIn API with the w_member_social scope, which allows posting to your personal LinkedIn feed.
LinkedIn tokens auto-refresh for up to 365 days, so you do not need to reconnect frequently. The rate limit is approximately 100 API calls per day per member, which is more than sufficient for any normal publishing cadence. LinkedIn supports both text-only posts and image posts — video posts are supported via LinkedIn's native video API where available.
Step 4 — Generate AI content
Now that your accounts are connected, the creative part begins. Type a brief into Twin Studio. It can be as simple as "a 15-second reel about morning coffee in Bangalore, warm tones, shot on a rooftop" or as complex as "a 60-second product film for a new skincare brand, three scenes, model with natural skin texture, soft lighting, premium feel."
The Twin o1 harness processes your brief, generates the treatment and screenplay, routes each shot to the appropriate model, renders the video, and assembles the final output. You review everything in the node canvas. You can edit any step — change a shot, re-route a model, adjust the colour grade, regenerate a clip you are not happy with.
Once you are satisfied with the output, you are ready to publish. The content is already in Twin Studio. No download needed.
Step 5 — Publish directly
From the node canvas or the Meta Hub, select the platform(s) you want to publish to. You can post to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Threads — individually or simultaneously. Write your caption directly in Twin Studio, or click Generate caption and let Twin o1 write one based on your content and target platform. The AI caption is optimized for each platform — shorter and hashtag-heavy for Instagram, professional and contextual for LinkedIn, broader for Facebook.
Select the aspect ratio — 9:16 for Reels and Shorts, 1:1 for feed posts, 16:9 for YouTube. Twin Studio automatically formats the output for each platform's specifications. Click Publish. Your content is posted through the official APIs. No manual upload. No browser tabs. No download-and-reupload workflow.
You can also schedule posts for later. Twin Studio's scheduling system lets you queue content across platforms and publish at optimal times. This is particularly useful for creators who batch-produce content and schedule it across the week.
The workflow you are replacing
To appreciate what direct publishing eliminates, consider the old workflow. Generate a video in your AI tool. Download the MP4 to your desktop. Open Instagram in your browser or app. Click create, select Reel, upload the file, wait for processing. Write a caption. Add hashtags. Post. Then open Facebook. Repeat. Then open LinkedIn. Repeat. Then open YouTube. Repeat. Four platforms, four uploads, four caption rewrites, 20–30 minutes of manual work.
With Twin Studio, the workflow is: generate, review, select platforms, publish. Two minutes. The content never leaves the application. The captions are AI-generated and platform-optimized. The posting happens through official APIs, not browser automation, which means it is reliable, fast, and compliant with each platform's terms of service.
Security and privacy
All OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. Twin Studio never stores your social media passwords — it stores only the encrypted OAuth tokens that the platforms themselves issue. You can disconnect any platform at any time from the Meta Hub, which immediately revokes the token. You can also revoke access from each platform's own settings (Instagram settings, Facebook settings, LinkedIn settings) at any time.
Twin Studio posts only what you explicitly approve. There is no automatic posting without your action. Every post requires you to review the content, write or approve the caption, and click publish. The agent does not post on its own.
